3.1.2 WA Government priorities 2025-2029

Jobs - Diversifying the WA economy so that it remains the strongest in the nation.
Health - Ensuring all Western Australians can access the healthcare they need, when they need it.
Housing - Ensuring every Western Australian has a home.
Community - Building safe and inclusive communities.
Environment - Protecting and restoring our environment.
Infrastructure and services - Delivering quality infrastructure and services across the State.

In relation to these themes, SWDC notes the following 5 key priorities:

1. Economic growth - Facilitate conditions for sustainable economic growth.

2. Innovation - Drive innovation and collaboration in key industries.

3. Aboriginal prosperity - Foster opportunities for Aboriginal empowerment and prosperity.

4. Communities - Ensure communities are vibrant, connected and have the services and infrastructure they need.

5. Excellence - Deliver with excellence in governance and engagement.
